Bernardo joined L-GAM in 2016. Prior to joining L-GAM, Bernardo was an Associate in the M&A and UK Investment Banking teams at Nomura in London.

Bernardo is an Italian national. He received a MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a degree in Economics from the University of Florence in Italy.

Yves Alexandre is a founding partner at L-GAM with over 23 years of private equity experience. Prior to founding L-GAM, Yves was Head of Corporate Investment at Investcorp in London. Yves previously worked for over twelve years in investment banks including among others, The First Boston Corporation and Goldman Sachs in New York and in London.

He is a French national and holds an MSc from HEC School of Management in Paris, France.

Prior to joining L-GAM, Mrs. Bal was Senior Corporate Counsel at Franklin Templeton Investments’ UCITS Management Company and AIFM in Luxembourg. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments, Mrs. Bal worked for more than four years as corporate counsel at Arendt & Medernach, a leading Luxembourg law firm.

She is a French national and holds a triple major in private/commercial law and foreign languages as well as an LLM in American law from Boston University School of Law. Mrs. Bal is also a qualified lawyer called to the New York bar.

Prior to his current role at L-GAM, Jerome was a Principal at Bain Capital in London and Boston. Jerome started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company.

Jerome is a French and German national and received an M.B.A from Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He also received an MSc from HEC School of Management in Paris, France.

Christina joined L-GAM in 2023. Prior to joining L-GAM, she was working at a global asset manager in Luxembourg.

Prior to that, Christina started her career as a financial auditor at Deloitte Luxembourg.

Christina is a French and German national. She holds a double Master’s degree in Management Sciences and is a Luxembourg certified chartered accountant.

Prior to joining L-GAM Mrs. Burenko worked in several different industries, including oil and gas, telecommunications, and banking.

She holds MSc in Finance and Banking from European University in Kyiv and MSc in International Tourism from University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow.

Prior to joining L-GAM, Dario was Senior Director at Whirlpool Corporation. Before then, he spent almost eight years at McKinsey & Company advising clients in Europe and China.

He is an Italian national and holds a Master‘s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.

Sebastien joined L-GAM in 2021. Prior to joining L-GAM, he was a Senior Vice President at Houlihan Lokey in London. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Sebastien worked in the Rothschild Debt Advisory team in London.

Sebastien is a French national. He holds a MSc in Management from EDHEC Business School.

Prior to joining L-GAM, Mrs. Geoffroy was Finance Manager at BIP Investment Partners in Luxembourg. Prior to joining BIP, Mrs. Geoffroy spent 13 years in audit at EY in Luxembourg.

Mrs. Geoffroy is a French national and hold an MSTCF degree, as well as a Master’s Degree from SKEMA Business School specializing in audit.

Prior to his current role at L-GAM, Balazs was a Vice President at Bain Capital in London. Balazs joined Bain Capital in 2009. Prior to Bain Capital, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Germany.

Balazs holds a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a University Degree in Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany.

Ferdinando Grimaldi is a founding partner at L-GAM, with over 28 years of private equity experience. Prior to founding L-GAM, Ferdinando was Managing Director at Bain Capital in London. Previously, Ferdinando was a member of the Management Committee at Investcorp. Ferdinando started his private equity career in 1992 at Chemical Venture Partners/Chase Capital Partners.

He is an Italian national and holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.

Prior to joining L-GAM, Valentin was Business Unit Director at Heppner, a logistics provider based in France. Before that, he was Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company where he spent 5 years advising clients on both strategy and transformation topics.

Valentin is a French and Swiss national. He holds a MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris and received a MSc in Corporate Finance from the University of Mannheim.

Before joining L-Gam, Juliane worked in the Travel Industry for 11 years as a Key Customer Care Representative for UHNW clients.

She has a Pitman Executive PA Diploma and speaks fluent English and German.

Prior to his role at L-GAM, André worked for Funding Circle in London. Prior to this, André was a consultant for Roland Berger in Paris.

André is a French and Swiss national. He received an MSc from ESSEC Business School in Paris. He also received an LLM in Corporate and Business Law from University of Paris La Sorbonne.

Felipe Merry del Val is a founding partner at L-GAM, with over 26 years of private equity experience. Prior to founding L-GAM, Felipe was a Managing Director at Bain Capital London, which he joined in January 2006. Previously, Felipe was a Principal at Investcorp in London and worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch.

He is Italian/Spanish and holds a University Degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, and a “MIM” awarded by the Community of European Management Schools “CEMS”.

Before joining L-Gam, Alessia Murano worked for 8 years in the field of events and marketing: first as Exhibition Manager of an international publishing house then as a Marketing Specialist for a law firm.

Alessia is an Italian national and holds a degree as an interpreter and translator in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Prior to his current role at L-GAM, Carlos worked as a consultant for Bain & Company, which he joined in 2020.

Carlos in an Italian and U.S. national. He holds and MSc and BSc in Finance from Bocconi University.

Lai-Yee joined L-GAM in 2022.

Prior to joining L-GAM, she was a Vice President at Houlihan Lokey in London. Lai-Yee also worked at Kraft Heinz in China as head of pricing and trade investment.

Lai-Yee is a French national.

She holds a MSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics.

Prior to joining L-GAM, Mr. Paquin worked as Fund Manager at Alter Domus Luxembourg, a leading financial service provider, where he managed major private equity and private debt firms.

Prior to joining Alter Domus, Mr. Paquin started his career in audit at Mazars Luxembourg.

Geoffrey is a French national. He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate and Market Finance.

Prior to his current role at L-GAM, Gianmarco worked as a consultant for Bain & Company, which he joined in 2018.

Gianmarco is an Italian national. He holds an MSc in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University and a Bachelor in Economics and Management from the University of Padua.

Prior to joining L-GAM, Tito was Group Chief Financial Officer at Charles Taylor plc, a global insurance services provider listed on the London stock exchange, and Managing Director at Investcorp, where he was in charge of portfolio operations in Europe. Before that he worked at McKinsey & Company, and in various management roles with the Schindler Group.

Tito is an Italian and Swiss national and holds an MA in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland.

Prior to joining L-Gam, Olena was Deputy CEO of one of the leading lightning companies in Ukraine, Nova-Light.

Prior to joining NL Olena was managing director for 4 years in one of the biggest cinema theatres in Ukraine, Multiplex.

Olena is a Ukrainian national and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from Alfred Nobel University.
